Eat Drink Make! Back To Our Roots

Last night was the Eat Drink Make event that I co-hosted with Itha Cao of The Hungry Cao and Jasmine Cho of Yummyholic! In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Itha, Jasmine and I went "back to our roots" by serving authentic Chinese cuisine featuring root vegetables, giving a voice to AAPI issues, and teaching brush calligraphy with Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens.

If you love reading books (like me), or you know someone who is a bibliophile, these cute watercolor bookmarks are fun to make and can be used to mark your spot (instead of that napkin, receipt, ripped up paper, or heaven forbid, dog-earring the page).
