Serif Handwriting Practice Guide · Digital Product

I started using serif lettering as a way to make my headers, dates, and quotes stand out in my journal. Adding serifs (the little lines that embellish each character) gave my writing more flair and it was much quicker than using my typewriter rubber stamps!

This digital PDF includes uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, an exclamation point, a question mark, and an ampersand. I wrote them all by hand and scanned them, so don’t expect a perfect font! The sheets are formatted for 5mm dot grid. Simply download the PDF, print it out, and begin practicing! There are eight faint characters to trace, then you continue writing until you feel like you’ve practiced enough.

To use these sheets, you will need a printer, paper, and a pen or pencil. If you are using a fountain pen, I recommend using a compatible paper that can handle fountain pen ink.

This worksheet is formatted for USA Letter Size (8.5" x 11"). Choose the option to print at actual scale if you need it to be a 5mm dot grid. You may also scale the file to change the size of the grid/character size.

This is a digital product—no physical product will be sent to you. Upon purchasing this digital file, you can print out the PDF as many times as you want. Due to the digital nature of this product, there will be no returns or refunds.
